NOTES & CONSIDERATIONS

Any individual making a request or challenging the accuracy of any personal information will be required to provide sufficient personal identification to Safety Services Nova Scotia as required by our staff.

All challenges to the accuracy or handling of personal information must be in writing. Our privacy officer and/or appointed office personnel will fully investigate the validity of any challenge to accuracy, collect or use of information. The result of the investigation will be subsequently communicated to the complainant in writing.

We will maintain a record of all requests, subsequent correspondence and actions taken as result of the challenge.
